GN_Menu add-on for Blender

The “GN-Menu” add-on for Blender adds a set of buttons to the user panel (N-panel) for conveniently adding geometry nodes with the mouse, eliminating the need for the “Shift + a” shortcut and node searching. This add-on is convenient for “mouse users”—those who prefer to work in Blender primarily with the mouse rather than the keyboard.

Add-on author: Alexey Maslov.

The add-on is compatible with Blender version 4.5.

You can download the add-on from Gumroad by the following link: https://alexeymaslov.gumroad.com/l/gn_nodes

The add-on has a price of “0+”, meaning you can download and use it for free. However, if you like it and want to support the author, you can purchase it for any amount you like.

The add-on is installed in the standard way:

  • Download the add-on distribution from Gumroad;
  • In the “Preferences” area, click the arrow in the upper right corner and select “Install from Disk…”;
  • Select the downloaded file;
  • Optionally, click the “Save Preferences” button to enable the add-on the next time you launch Blender.

Now you can switch to the Geometry Nodes area. Open the N-Panel. In the panel, activate the “Add Node” tab.

You’ll see a hierarchical list in which nodes are grouped exactly like in the standard node pop-up menu. Open the desired group and select the node you want to add to the node tree.

The node can be conveniently dragged and dropped into the desired location in the node tree by right-clicking.

This way, the menu for adding new nodes will always be at your fingertips.
